About Wheeler
Gary Wheeler is an award-winning writer, producer, and director with over thirty years of experience in the film and television industry. He has made more than forty motion pictures, which have been seen by millions of viewers on platforms including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Peacock, iTunes, PBS, and many more. These films include the #1 box office hit War Room, Emmy-nominated The Heart of Christmas, 20th Century Fox’s The Trial, and the western The Warrant: Breaker's Law, for which he won the prestigious Bronze Wrangler for Best Television Movie from the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. He is currently the creator and showrunner on seasons 1 and 2 of the hit television series Blue Ridge. Gary is a long-standing member of the Producers Guild of America and is a frequent speaker at universities, conferences, and seminars focusing on the power of cinema to inspire and transform lives. He is a graduate of Appalachian State University.
