We are pleased to announce that Remington Relick has been awarded the Capote scholarship for 2021-22! Remington was chosen by Annette Saunooke Clapsaddle, one of our Spring visiting writers. "There are no cheap tricks or convenient twists lurking for the reader...Instead, the author has crafted a tension that feels so intimate it compels us to ask ourselves the silent questions..."
Additionally, we'd like to extend our congratulations to the runners-up, Shay Vaughn and Zoe Benfield! The University Bookstore has awarded both of them a copy of The Prettiest Star, the award-winning new novel by another of our Spring visiting writers, Carter Sickels.
