This course focuses on digital literature, which arises from a creative engagement with digital technologies, resulting in language-driven works that incorporate computation, animation, multimedia integration, interactivity, and/or networking and depart from the constraints and culture of the (printed/virtual) page. This course will introduce you to the history and main genres and practices of the field of digital literature.
This course will satisfy:
- Gen Ed requirements: Humanity and Its Systems (HUM) and Literary Studies (LS),
- Requirements for the AI Humanities Minor, and
- Everyone who takes it.
The course will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30-10:45 am in Sanford Hall 206.
