The book in which Elaine has a chapter, Teaching with Reverance: Reviving an Ancient Virtue for Today's Schools, just won the Society of Professors of Education Book Award. Her chapter is called "Risking Reverence." The award will be presented to all of the authors at the annual AERA meeting in San Francisco on Sunday, April 26.
