Course Description
A graduate seminar exploring the history, current trends, and future pathways in rhetorical studies. We will explore and interrogate the rhetorical canon and rhetorical tradition(s), deepen our understanding of how to teach rhetorical theory in the RC classroom, and engage with contemporary theories of rhetoric through class discussions and research projects. Major projects will include a lesson plan for RC courses, an academic book review, and an independent research project.
