This fall Dr. William D. Brewer will be teaching English 4870-101: Literature of the British Romantic Period with a focus on the Regency Period of 1811-1820. Works studied will include Jane Austin's Persuasion and Mary Shelly's Frankenstein. If we are in person for the fall the class will meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 to 10:50. In addition to the literature, the course will also explore the culture which produced the works read in class.
