Indigenous and Latinx Writers and Artists

In this section of ENG 2360, American Literatures and the Arts, students will be introduced to US Indigenous and Latinx writers and artists. This course focuses on literature that examines themes and historical moments depicted in Judy Baca’s half-mile-long mural, The Great Wall of Los Angeles. While we will explore literary and artistic expression from 1500 to the present, this course will focus on contemporary Indigenous and Latinx writers and artists.
