British Romantic Literature

William Brewer joined the Appalachian State English Department faculty in 1987. He has published two monographs, edited three collections of essays, and published numerous essays on literature of the British Romantic period. Currently he is writing about the life and works of Mary "Perdita" Robinson, a late eighteenth-century writer, actress, and royal courtesan.
