Congratulations to Joseph Bathanti! Joseph has been invited to deliver the 2016 Charleston Lecture at UNC Chapel Hill on November 17.
The lecture is sponsored by UNC's Center for the Study of the American South. Past Charleston Lectures have been delivered by James Ferguson, Julian Bond, Earl Black, and Rhonda Williams among others.
Joseph will be speaking about Alma Stone Williams, the first African American student at Black Mountain College.
